Like all of T. S. Joyce’s shifter romances, this is well-paced, funny, heart-warming and overall fun. I highly recommend the entire series. If you like light, easy reads, shifter books, and laughing, you’ll love Beck Bear. This is available on Kindle Unlimited.

Rock Hard: Chord Brothers, Book 1

By M. J. Roberts

Formats: eBook, print, audiobook

** “A moving, funny, white-hot sexy romp that fans of Lauren Blakely, Nora Roberts, and Janet Evanovich will love. Great sexual tension, view of band life, and deeper issues.

Blurb:

Drummer Ryder Chord has been living half a life since he was sixteen when a brutal tragedy strikes his family and he and his best friend hit the road. Ryder, desperate to forget, throws himself into touring life and writing music. When Lexi joins the band, Ryder’s life becomes almost tolerable. Until one day when the rest of the band isn’t there and Ryder and Lexi have to share a hotel room: with only one bed.

Rule number one of band-dom: You never sleep with anyone in the band. Rule number one of bro code: You never sleep with anyone’s sister. You definitely never sleep with your best friend’s little sister. Rule number it’s so obvious it’s a count even a drummer can keep: You Never. Ever. Sleep with your best friend’s little sister when she’s in the band…and he is too.

MULTI-PLATINUM’S REVIEW:

I absolutely loved this series. It’s easy to fall in love with strong, stoic Ryder, and cute, upbeat Lexi. The entire series, following tormented, alpha rockers on tour, and the women who love them, is a gem. This book, along with the others in the series made me laugh out loud, tear up, and had some completely original twists and surprises that made me want to visit the Hard Chord band and their tour again and again.

Lover At Last By J. R. Ward

Blurb:

It’s hard to see the new couple together, but building your life around the pipe dream is just a heartbreak waiting to happen. But fate seems to have taken these warriors in different directions…

MULTI-PLATINUM’S REVIEW:

If you haven’t discovered the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by top novelist J.R. Ward you are missing one of the best-constructed and interesting worlds out there today.

This is a very believable, intense, and complex interwoven group of characters. J.R. Ward’s books are probably the best vampire books available, although, to quote reviewer Rebecca W., “They are more warrior books than vampire ones. Even if you don’t like vampire books you’ll love these guys.” This book (and the others in the series) are the type of books you can read more than once.

  1. R. Ward is probably the best writer of similes and metaphor of our time. Her slightly dark tone for her lovable warriors has sucked in some of the world’s most avid fans.

Lover At Last does not disappoint with non-stop action, hot tension, and what is undoubtedly the hottest sex scene with two guys ever written in any book at any time throughout history.

All the Black Dagger Brotherhood series books are available on audiobook with top-tier narrator Jim Frangione giving a stellar performance, with melodious, slow, deliberate delivery. This series, both the books and the audiobooks are absolutely top-notch. Don’t miss it.

We highly recommend it.
